Bambowtie is a bamboo bow tie handmade by community members from Gawad Kalinga, a community development organization in the Philippines.
Proceeds from Bambowtie sales support sustainable livelihoods and contribute to a scholarship fund for the children in the Gawad Kalinga (www.gk1world.com) village where they are made.
The hand-crafted Bambowties are adorned with Anthill Fabric that is weaved by indigenous women from different local communities.
